Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. Sponsor
FISION ANALYTICS LLC ("Sponsor"), operating NC Bourbon Insider at ncbourboninsider.com.
2. Eligibility
The Finder's Draw (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the State of North Carolina who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of FISION ANALYTICS LLC and members of their immediate families are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Entry Period
The Sweepstakes entry period begins at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time on May 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 PM Eastern Time on May 29, 2026 (the "Entry Period"). Entries submitted outside of the Entry Period will not be counted.
4. How to Enter
Method 1 (Primary): Free Account Registration. All eligible NC Bourbon Insider members with an active account as of the start of the Entry Period (12:00:00 AM Eastern Time on May 1, 2026) will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. No action is required to claim this entry. Participants who create a new free account at ncbourboninsider.com during the Entry Period will also receive one (1) entry upon account creation. Each eligible participant may earn this entry once regardless of account age.
Method 2 (Primary): Bottle Sighting Submission. During the Entry Period, submit a bottle sighting through the Bottle Hunter section of your NC Bourbon Insider dashboard. Each sighting submission that is approved by NC Bourbon Insider will earn the submitting account one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Sightings that are rejected or flagged for manual review and not subsequently approved will not earn an entry. There is no limit to the number of sightings a participant may submit during the Entry Period, provided each submission represents a genuine, distinct observation of an allocated bottle at a North Carolina ABC store. Duplicate sightings of the same bottle at the same store submitted within a short time window may be disqualified at the Sponsor's discretion.
Method 3 (Alternate): Bourbon Review Submission. As an alternate means of entry, participants may submit an original written bourbon review in the format used by NC Bourbon Insider (including tasting notes covering aroma, palate, finish, and price, plus an overall score). One qualifying review submission will earn one (1) additional entry. To submit a review for entry, send your review by email to the Sponsor at the contact address listed on ncbourboninsider.com with the subject line "Sweepstakes Review Entry." The review must be received before the end of the Entry Period, must be original and unpublished, and must meet the review format requirements at the Sponsor's sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to publish submitted reviews on ncbourboninsider.com. Submitting a review does not guarantee publication.
Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or any automated means will be disqualified. Entries not in compliance with these Official Rules are void.
5. Prize
One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a gift card in the amount of five hundred US dollars ($500.00) to Caskers (caskers.com), an online whiskey retailer. The gift card will be delivered to the winner electronically. The approximate retail value of the prize is $500.00 USD. No cash equivalent or prize substitution is permitted except at the Sponsor's discretion. The prize is non-transferable. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
6. Drawing and Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will take place on or about May 30, 2026. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor or its designated representative. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by email at the address associated with their NC Bourbon Insider account within seven (7) days of the drawing. If the selected winner does not respond within seven (7) days of notification, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.
7. Conditions of Participation
By entering the Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Participants also agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, acts in bad faith, or violates these rules.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes will be used only for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes and awarding the prize, and will be handled in accordance with the NC Bourbon Insider Privacy Policy available at ncbourboninsider.com/privacy_policy.php.
9. General Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries. This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
10. Winner List
The name of the winner will be available upon request by emailing the Sponsor at the contact address listed on ncbourboninsider.com after June 6, 2026.
